When offered the change to take part, I jumped on it. It proved to be a little more difficult than I thought it would be. Through the whole process, I learned that I'm way more comfortable drawing on flat surfaces. The finished product was a result of a whole bunch of mistakes, with very little going the way I had intended. The mask ended up being nowhere near what I had originally saw in my head. After it was all said and done, it kinda reminded me of the masks The Immortals wore in 300. Although I wasn't really satisfied with my finished piece, it was received well, so I'm ok with that.
You can check out more pictures on their Facebook page and there's a post on Reddit. You can also check them out on Twitter. There was one thing I did notice about Facebook post that I thought was kinda funny. It makes mention of the masks being customized by street artists. I'm probably the complete opposite of a street artist. Anyway, I was excited about being a part of this project, so I thought I'd share.
